Benefit for the Brinktown Church Date: April 19, 2009 - Sunday Ride begins at 9:30am. Brinktown Trail Ride Ride to a fresh Whole Hog Sausage & Chicken Dinner at the church, then return. Date: Spring 2009 ??? - Saturday Ride leaves at 10 am SHARP. Directions: Red Bird Schoolhouse. From Owensville: Approx. 11 miles south on Hwy EE, turn right on Mint Spring Road, turn left at junction. Follow road approx 2 miles to the Red Bird Schoolhouse on the right. Park along the gravel road. There is plenty of room on the sides. If the field isn't wet, parking available behind the schoolhouse. Half way between St. James & Bland on Hwy B: Turn on Red Bird Gravel Road to the bottom of the the hill and turn right and follow to the schoolhouse. Trails: 12 miles. Half woods, half road. Wagons and buggies are welcome. Addt'l info: This is a fundraiser for the Red Bird Schoolhouse. After the ride, there is a benefit lunch at the schoolhouse. Directions: Leroy Tipton's Farm in Vichy. From Owensville: Hwy 28 South, Left of Hwy 63 approx 1/2 mile, go left on Hwy 68 approx 6-7 miles. Turn left on Gravel Road 447. Look for small signs. Approx. 1 mile down gravel road to white house on right with red barn and white out-buildings. You will pay for your food ticket at the gate, and then park in the field. Trails: 13-15 miles. Half woods, half road. Wagons and buggies are welcome. We ride to the fire dept, eat lunch, and then ride back. Addt'l info: This is a fundraiser for the Vichy Fire Department. We ride to the Fire Dept. for a whole hog roast and chicken & dumplins' and ride back. Lunch costs $7, 12 & under-$3.50.
